SANSAN Champagne Temptation Limited Blush

I stop by at HBC last week in search for the magical eyebrows stencil. They still don't have it. So to pass time I check out their makeup items and saw this beauty. My eyes pop, wow it looks like the dupe of  WET n WILD Illuminator powder. I tried their tester and went fine on my hand. It's super pigmented. I can't believe it. I was having a hard time removing it on my hand.

I find this blush as multipurpose.  You can use it on your eyes, cheeks, and as highlighter. This blush is in shade #02 RSVPink. This blush is buildable, blendable, and has a nice color payoff. What's in the pan, it's really the actual color on your skin.  The staying power is great. I didn't recognize any fading in my observation and the color doesn't oxidize.  You know what's so good about this product? It contains Vitamin A, C, & E, and it's SPF 15 girls. I never encounter any blush that contains vitamins, let alone having SPF's. So far, I didn't experience any breakouts. I'm really wowed!

The best part of this blush is it only retails at P109.75 (pesos) or around $2.10 USD. You can find this beauty at HBC. Hurry girls, I think it's a limited edition. This blush comes in two shades. The other one is in peach. Hmmm... Now I'm lemming to get that too!

My PUPA Brush Set

My ultimate find... My 21 pieces PUPA makeup brush set with makeup artist leather belt... Isn't this a beauty??? JOLOVESMAKEUP did a review on this, sad to say the YouTube makeup guru is no longer registered and so is the makeup brush seller on ebay. Anyway, this brush make me feel   like a professional makeup artist. The brush set is made of the squirrel and goats hair. Its of high quality, very dense, and tighly pack brush set. This is the softest brush I ever tried on. I love the handle its so sexy and unique. And the brush set really delivers precise application.  The brush set also comes with a brush guard and makeup artist leather tool brush belt. What more can you ask for?
Its been with me for over a year now but it still looks new. I've wash it countless of times and still the brush didn't shed. If you get the chance to find a good makeup brush set, try investing in getting one. Its a perfect tool for precise application of your makeup.

The best part of this brush set, is the price. Its so affordable! It cost me around $25 USD including  international shipment. If you try checking out MAC brush, a MAC 217 blending brush cost around $22.50 + tax. I know it's MAC - it justify the price, but if you can find one that can deliver the same result and gives you more value for your money why not invest one right?

Try checking out eBay, you can find a affordable brush set of high quality. Just make sure the eBay seller is a POWERSELLER, and check their feedbacks too. Just a tip... Enjoy looking...

Oil Control Sheet

I just want to share my cheap finds... This  Finess Oil Control Sheet cost me P31.75 (peso) for 100 sheets at Watsons. They also have scented versions but I'm content with this. I love using this unscented one because its the cheapest ;-). This Sheet really absorbs oil  and its a great alternative for other brands which cost P80.00 (peso) + up. Try checking it out...

Shu Uemura Lipgloss in RD165N Review

Since I haven't got the Shu uemura Rouge unlimited lipstick in RD 165N I decided to give this I try. I really love red lippies. I love how it brightens the face and sporting a classic look. This shade is true classic red lip color with less shimmers but still look shiny. A beautiful wash of color on my pigmented lips. This is a good alternative for those who want a classic red look, but don't like the feel of lipstick. I love using this alone. Daytime or nightime. I have no rules in wearing "red", as long as I can pull it off.

The formula is light, not sticky , and non-drying. The shine is fabulous and I find this long lasting. This has a a faintly sweet, fruity scent, but not over powering.

The cons for this product is in terms of packaging and price. As for the applicator, it has an extra-long, very slender doe foot applicator which is hard for precise application. As for the price, this retails at $22 USD Shu uemura website. Shu uemura products are more cheaper in Asean countries.

Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited RD170 Lipstick Review

RD 170 "My HG Lipstick". This is by far the best lipstick, I have ever had. The formula is to die for. Its so rich, creamy & highly pigmented. It feels so soft and light and feels great on. I love the shade, its bright crimson red with bluish undertones. I always get compliment wearing this.

This retails at $23 USD at Sephora but sells a bit cheaper here in Asia. I got mine in Hongkong, I specifically ask my friend to buy this beauty for me. And I paid around P800+ for this item a bit cheaper than Rustan's which retails this around P1400+ up.

This product is worth checking out...

For cheaper alternatives:

Check out Revlon Lipstick their Renewist or Super Lustrous line. I read somewhere that they are at par with Shu uemura lippies. I haven't tried Revlon yet so I can't attest to this claim.

PINAY VERSION "BRONZEY LOOK"

For the Face ...Ever Bilena Pro Bronzing Powder ( P180.00+ up)

A lightly scented and frosted powder that gives sheer and natural color effects. A perfect skin tone enhancer and a new alternative in creating a beautiful tan.

It has a decent pigmentation, a bit of shimmer, and really creates a breautiful tan. You can use this on the face, shoulders, decolletage for that Bronzey glow.

Multipurpose...

Careline Eye Shadow Powder (P100.00 + below)

Enriched with natural Vitamin E that moisturizes skin, making you look younger and more beautiful all day long. It contains microfine titanium dioxide and other coloring pigments that provide protection from sun damage.

As for the shade, find something that will compliment your coloring. I bought this in Meztiza White shade. It has a decent pigmentation, shimmery, and affordable. I find this item very versatile because you can use it alone or with a medium.

For the eyes, I use this with a base for longer wear. Find a medium where it can stick to, you can use your concealer or eye crayon whichever is available.

As for highlights I mix this item with my moisturizer and place it where I want to stand out. I sometimes mix this item with my liquid foundation as an alternative for illuminator.

You can also mix this with petroleum jelly or any lip balms you own for that added shimmer. Or you can place it on your cupids bow to make your lips pop.

I also mix this item with my lotion for added glow and place it on my shoulders, decolletage , and legs for that added radiance.

So many use for this item and its dirt cheap. I totally recommend this!

Shiseido Maquillage Quad Review

I got this as a wedding present from my Hubby's office mate. I love everything about this quad, I simply cannot find anything bad to say about it. This shade is in RD742 or simply the purple quad.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love japanesse makeups . I adore their quality and SHISEIDO is one among the best brand I often read in the reviews. And one of the brands I'm lemming to have.

As for this quad, I really love all the shades. It makes my brown eyes pop and gives me that glam feeling. The quad consist of eyeshadow for lid,mid tone eyeshadow base-contour for the outer-V, highlighter, and eye liner.

In terms of the quality, texture, lasting power, wearability of shades and packaging they are of good quality. However for those ladies who are into smokey eye look ,I guess you'll be dissapointed with quad. Though these are highly pigmented eyeshadow the color selection tends to lean more on the pastel range. And thats pretty much I love about it thats why I'm giving this a two thumps up.

I think the only major drawback for this quad is that its way too expensive. I think this retails around P3k + up in the market. This product is really worth checking out.

Loreal True Match Liquid Foundation Review

My Mother-in-Law got me this one from the US. I've always been wanting to try this one out but didnt get around to. She got me the Sun Beige shade because I want to sport a tan look. I'm not a fan of face tanners so I decided to get 3-4 shades darker than my skin tone.

As for the Pros:
- Formulation is ok, its blendable and buildable
- SPF 17
- It feels light
- Wide range of shades

As for the Cons:
- Not long wearing
- Oil Control is ok, I still need to blot a lot

This product is still worth checking out because it still gave me my most natural tan face look. I think the huge drawback for this is that its way over price here in the Philippines. I think this retails around P1k up + in the market. I don't think I'll shell that kind of money for a drugstore brand. Luckily I got mine for free ;-)
