Quick Fix with AVON Simply Pretty Lip & Cheek Tint

For a quick fix you can try using any tint that you have. Slap on some powder then put this tint on top or tint before powder . Whichever you want. It is very easy to apply. Just roll this tint on the apples of your cheeks. Let it stand for about 3 seconds then blend it in.  Just start of lightly then build it gradually according to your desired look. This will give you the most natural flushed look. This is a multipurpose tint because you can use it on your cheek & lips.

Avon Simply Pretty in Pink

I got this one last June 2012 and cost around P99, it was on sale :-).  This is in pink tint.

Here's the swatch.

This tint is quiet good.  If you want a subtle and flushed look. I wear this as a blush and it lasted for around 6 hours, on a hot-sunny day. Considering that I have a combi-oily skin, I think this did fairly. Considering the price point I think it's worth your money.I tried this on my lips, it looks nice. I just don't like the taste. I can't describe it.

Just heads up, if you use this on your lips. Make sure to prep your lips first. Use a soft toothbrush or a wet cloth, then scrub gently to remove dead skin. Then put on some lip balm then put this on. This will blend in more nicely and will look more natural. You can top it off with a clear gloss and can also serve as a base for your lipstick.

So for busy women out there, try using a tint it will save you time in giving yourself a boost.

Bourjois Ambre D'or Blush

LOVE IT! This shade looks gorgeous! It gives me a healthy warm glow with golden shimmer. Glistening
peachy bronze color with fine gold shimmers. Its divine! Gives me that super fresh sunkissed glow. Staying power is awesome!

However, the packaging sucks because the brush is really delicate and you literally have to scrape at the blush to get the amount needed. Although for application I'm using my stippling brush, this powder is very pigmented. I apply this with a light hand to give me that perfect glow. I love the compact size which is also comes with a mirror. Its very handy.
This product is really worth checking out...

SANSAN Champagne Temptation Limited Blush

I stop by at HBC last week in search for the magical eyebrows stencil. They still don't have it. So to pass time I check out their makeup items and saw this beauty. My eyes pop, wow it looks like the dupe of  WET n WILD Illuminator powder. I tried their tester and went fine on my hand. It's super pigmented. I can't believe it. I was having a hard time removing it on my hand.

I find this blush as multipurpose.  You can use it on your eyes, cheeks, and as highlighter. This blush is in shade #02 RSVPink. This blush is buildable, blendable, and has a nice color payoff. What's in the pan, it's really the actual color on your skin.  The staying power is great. I didn't recognize any fading in my observation and the color doesn't oxidize.  You know what's so good about this product? It contains Vitamin A, C, & E, and it's SPF 15 girls. I never encounter any blush that contains vitamins, let alone having SPF's. So far, I didn't experience any breakouts. I'm really wowed!

The best part of this blush is it only retails at P109.75 (pesos) or around $2.10 USD. You can find this beauty at HBC. Hurry girls, I think it's a limited edition. This blush comes in two shades. The other one is in peach. Hmmm... Now I'm lemming to get that too!

Bourjois Lune D'or Blush Review

I adore this blush it's very lovely. So let me start my review on the positive note. This blush is a baked texture, it's highly pigmented, finely milled, and the powder is rose scented. The powder is blendable and buildable. This shade is in peachy pink shade with very fine gold shimmer that gives me the prettiest, most delicate glow. I always get compliments wearing this blush. I think anyone can pull this color of.

As for the con side, this product is not available here in the Philippines. This blush is only 2.5 g net wt. 0.08 oz and retails at $14 in the US. It's definitely a tiny pot, with mirror and small blush brush inside. I find it quiet expensive taking note that is only a drugstore brand. However the packaging comes in handy for occasional touch ups because you can slip it in your purse.

On the final note this item is still worth checking out because taking into consideration the pigmentation, shade, blendability, and glow effect - that $14 cost is worth it.

Clinique Blushing Blush Giddy Pink Review

LOVE THIS SHADE OF BLUSH! Got this from a swap... You can already see how often I use this blush. I really love this sweet shade of pink with a subtle shimmer. The powder is very finely milled, and goes on very silky. This blush creates a very natural flush, very blendable and buildable.

As for the cons, I don't find this blush long wearing as the product claims. The packaging is too bulky even though it only weights 6G. As for the price this retails around $18.50 at Sephora. For the quality and price I don't think its worth it. It's a shame because I really love this shade.

Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Petal Review

After reading so many reviews of this blush, I decided to get one. This shade is peachy pink-nude matte blush. As the reviews claimed indeed this is very pigmented, long-wearing, and affordable blush. I think this shade would work well on anyone.

Love this and want to try other shades. I recommend this blush its worth checking out . This retails around $3-4 USD. Its a shame its not available here in the Philippines.

Kevyn Aucoin "The Creamy Moist Glow" in Tansoleil/Apricot Review

This is my HG cream blush! The color is the most perfect shade of apricot, excellent staying power. The formula is VERY blendable and buildable and dries to a powder finish. A very natural looking flush and really flatters my skin tone. For color reference I'm NC20-25 in MAC.

For application I'm just using my ring finger, take note that this product is very pigmented so you need apply it thinly then build it up according to your liking. The packaging is awesome! The price is a bit steep for the size but for the pigmentation, shade, staying power, and packaging, its totally worth it. This retails around $24 in Sephora.

Lip and Cheek Stain Collection

My Collection :

Benetint by BeneFit

Bourjois Rouge Hi-tech ( I forgot the shade)

Mistine Cindy

I love the natural makeup look and this tint is great for that. I used it on my lips for a natural rosy lip look and top it of with lip balm or gloss. It makes me look alive. I also use it as a cheek stain and it gives me a very nice natural flushed look, like the kind you get after a brisk walk or run.

Among the three tints I own, my favourite would be Benetint by BeneFit. I love this product because it's extremely long lasting and natural looking. It's a bit pricey for a tint but this stuff will last you a very long time. A little goes a long way with this.

Cheaper alternatives worth trying out:

Nichido Cheek Stain - P128.00 + (peso) – (available in SM and other leading department stores)

Mistine Cindy Face and Lip Tint - P150.00 + (peso) – ( available in SM and other leading department stores)

CHEAP FINDS "Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush" Review

Pink Frosting (Shade No 10)

Peach Satin (Shade 20)

I’m raving about this blush because I simply love it. It is so creamy and airy feeling. It applies like a dream and gives such a gorgeous glow. I have this in peach satin and pink frosting. I want to collect all the shades but I remember that I only got 2 cheeks to spare, tsk tsk tsk… ;-)

For application you can either use your skunk brush, or better yet your fingers. For my application I love using my ring finger because it gives me more control.

This product is very affordable it retails around P300.00+ something (peso) at Maybelline counters. You can also try buying this online on eBay it retails at around P150.00+up (peso) but of course you need to pay for the shipment. If you’re intending to buy lots of shades you would end up saving more.

The only con is that it fades a lot during the day. What I usually do with this product, I use this as a base for my powdered blush. But if I feel like sporting a natural looking flush I just set this with a translucent powder .You can also use a face primer underneath your foundation to skip the two techniques. . ;-)

"My collection" (NARS BLUSH) - ORGASM

My first NARS blush. I got this one because it’s the highly rave blush ever. Hmmm…I think I got orgasmic experienced using this on. ;-) Just Kidding… I really like this shade, a peachy-pink shade with shimmer, very classic. It matches my natural flush perfectly and gives me a nice glow. I think this shade is universally flattering and completely lovely because you can make it work for you.

The only downside for this blush is that I need to pack on the color to my cheeks with 2-3 swipes to get the effect that I want. FYI I’m a NC25 in MAC. Although I’ve been using this for over a year now, it still looks untouched. For the value, I guess you’ll get your moneys worth for this blush since the shade never gets out of season.

Pros: Highly Pigmented

Cons: Expensive ; Retails around $25 ; The color does not show up much

"My collection" (NARS BLUSH) - TORRID Review

This is love. All NARS' blushes are love. This is my third NARS blush that I own and my first blush in Coral Shade with shimmer. If I’m rich I’m definitely going to collect all the NARS blush shades and just stare at it. ;-) Kidding aside, when using this blush you need to apply a light hand because the blush is very pigmented. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and can suit any skin tone. You just need to build it up or diffuse it whatever you like. All in all, I love how it warms up my whole face and completes my look.

Pros: Highly Pigmented
Cons: Expensive, Retails around $25

My blush or blushes ;-)

Just looking at my growing blush collection gives me a lift. ;-) It’s not much but I’m pretty happy with it.

"My collection" (NARS BLUSH) - SIN Review

Love! Love! Love! This blush is so beautiful. Gives a very sophisticated flush and is perfect for evening. I get the most gorgeous berry plum shade with gold shimmer that looks like my natural flush. It really defines the cheekbones. The shimmer is very subtle. You definitely need to use a light hand or apply it with a stippling brush because this blush is very pigmented! So far, this is my favourite blush of all my collection.

Pros: Highly pigmented Blush
Cons: Expensive, Retails around $25
