Revlon "Just Bitten" Review

I love lip stains and this is a good one. Too bad they are discontinued but I'm glad I was able to buy some back up. ;-) The product is excellent, very wearable. It is a bit tricky to apply if you aren't familiar with lip stains, as you need to exfoliate your lips , before using this item. Then apply and let it dry. I don't find this item long wearing because it fades off after 4 hours. It has a fruity taste but does not bother me at all.

The packaging sucks! The roller ball is really annoying it gives you an uneven stain but-you can fix this by using your finger or a q-tip. I have this in Cherry Tart and Berry Juicy, it literally gives you that just bitten look. As for recommendation, If you can find one it's worth checking out.

Benetint by BeneFit Review

This is "one" of my all-time favorite lip & cheek tint. I really love how natural and rosy this makes your cheeks look and it's rose scented too. The colour payoff is great and very long wearing. I wear this on days when I don't want to sport a no makeup look - I just blend it into bare skin and it gives me a really healthy glow. However, you have to be careful in the application because this dries up so fast. What I usually do is place 3 dots on one cheek let it stay for 5 seconds then blend. Then do the other cheek and build it up according to my liking. It's easy to apply and great on lips too!

The huge draw back for this item is that it retails around $28 USD (and tax) for a 12.5 ml bottle. It's very pricey for a lip & cheek stain. But Cost-wise, it's not too bad considering one bottle lasts so long. I had mine for about 8 months now and my tint still looks full.

I definitely recommend this for someone who wants that no fuss, natural flushed cheek look.

Lip and Cheek Stain Collection

My Collection :

Benetint by BeneFit

Bourjois Rouge Hi-tech ( I forgot the shade)

Mistine Cindy

I love the natural makeup look and this tint is great for that. I used it on my lips for a natural rosy lip look and top it of with lip balm or gloss. It makes me look alive. I also use it as a cheek stain and it gives me a very nice natural flushed look, like the kind you get after a brisk walk or run.

Among the three tints I own, my favourite would be Benetint by BeneFit. I love this product because it's extremely long lasting and natural looking. It's a bit pricey for a tint but this stuff will last you a very long time. A little goes a long way with this.
