Sun-kissed Look with Loreal Hip Bronzing Powder

There something about bronzer that really drives me to collect it. I'm a fair-medium skin tone and getting the right bronzer for my skin is a bit of a challenge. Most of my bronzer serve me differently. Mostly have high reviews. As for this one, I've always been wanting to try NARS Laguna. Read tons of review about it but for the price I'm afraid I can't cave in. That's how I stumble upon this product meet - "Loreal Hip Bronzing Powder in Blessed"
Isn't this lovely? Perfect for sun-kissed look. This really does it all.  It does give a multi-dimensional glow, without looking orange or dirty. It's perfect for the pale girls out there like myself. Shade may look dark in pan but is pretty sheer on, adds a nice sun kissed glow to your face.  I'm not sure if it's really at par with NARS Laguna, but the shade and effect of this bronzer is amazing! The texture is so smooth, it's blendable, and buildable. But make sure to apply with a light hand because this powder is highly pigmented. One of the rules for pigmented product is to always apply thinly then build the color according to you liking.
The packaging is adorable with the mirror and the brush~ The brush might not be great quality but it works wonderfully sculpting my cheeks. It's too bad it's discontinued. If you can get a hand of this baby, try checking it out.

MILANI SUNSET DUOS IN SUNSET BREEZE

I got this from a Swap in Makeupalley. This item was a real surprise. It's still brand new, lucky me! ;-)

It's 75% medium matte bronzer, 25% a fuschia pink blush. Pigmentation is excellent and the powder is fine so you can layer and adjust it's intensity.  The color combo is great, the texture is silky and so little is required.

I think the compact will last a very long time. Lasting power throughout the day is still to be determined, but at a low - cost alternative to dept store bronzers & blushes, plus only having to carry one compact, I think it's a winner. I really, really like this product.

MILANI BRONZER IN MEDIUM

I have this in medium shade & it's perfect shade for contour. This shade does not turn orange on me and the staying power is great.

The shade appears dark in the pan so you have to work with a light hand. Start off thinly   then build the color according to your liking.  The powder is heavily pigmented. This shade looks totally natural and blends well into my skin and it doesn't rubbed off.

This is actually pretty good for a drugstore brand. It weights around .35 OZ / 10g.

PINAY VERSION "BRONZEY LOOK"

For the Face ...Ever Bilena Pro Bronzing Powder ( P180.00+ up)

A lightly scented and frosted powder that gives sheer and natural color effects. A perfect skin tone enhancer and a new alternative in creating a beautiful tan.

It has a decent pigmentation, a bit of shimmer, and really creates a breautiful tan. You can use this on the face, shoulders, decolletage for that Bronzey glow.

Multipurpose...

Careline Eye Shadow Powder (P100.00 + below)

Enriched with natural Vitamin E that moisturizes skin, making you look younger and more beautiful all day long. It contains microfine titanium dioxide and other coloring pigments that provide protection from sun damage.

As for the shade, find something that will compliment your coloring. I bought this in Meztiza White shade. It has a decent pigmentation, shimmery, and affordable. I find this item very versatile because you can use it alone or with a medium.

For the eyes, I use this with a base for longer wear. Find a medium where it can stick to, you can use your concealer or eye crayon whichever is available.

As for highlights I mix this item with my moisturizer and place it where I want to stand out. I sometimes mix this item with my liquid foundation as an alternative for illuminator.

You can also mix this with petroleum jelly or any lip balms you own for that added shimmer. Or you can place it on your cupids bow to make your lips pop.

I also mix this item with my lotion for added glow and place it on my shoulders, decolletage , and legs for that added radiance.

So many use for this item and its dirt cheap. I totally recommend this!

Bourjois Bronzing Powder in #52 Review

My HG bronzer! I totally heart BOURJOIS!

It's a gorgeous shade of brown with just a touch gold glimmer.I sometimes use this as a blush. ;-) This powder has a soft texture, buildable and blendable. This shade is a natural brown w/ subtle shimmer which gives you the most natural sunkissed look (this is not at all orange).

I really love the packaging, it looks like a chocolate bar and it smells like one too! I love using this with my kabuki brush and put it on my cheeks, shoulders, and decolletage. I often used this on day time. This retails around 7 GBP in UK and $18 USD in the US. Luckily I got two of these from a swap.

As for purchasing, definitely will start looking, if this runs out. This product is worth checking out.

NARS Multiple in Palm Beach Review

I got this one from a makeup swap. It’s a multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. This shade is in rich bronze. At first, I was skeptical about the shade I might not be able to pull it of. I tried it on as my bronzer and it turns out lovely. It's long wearing and lovely on its own.

When using this as bronzer, I warm it up with my ring finger then apply it lightly. I like using this underneath NARS Orgasm, it look so stunning for a night out. I also tried using this as my lipstick and top it of with a clear gloss. And it still looks great. So far I haven’t tried it on my eyes, maybe next time if I feel like doing it. ;-)

The only huge drawback for this item is that it Retails around $37.

Cheaper alternative worth checking out :

Wet 'n' Wild 3-of-a-Kind Twist Up Stick

Cheap Finds "Wet 'n' Wild Bronzzer" Review

I Love this product! It’s of good quality and very cheap. If you’re looking for matte bronzer this really does the job. Just remember to use sparingly since this product is very pigmented. The only downside for this product is that packaging isn't all that great, but it holds well, which is all that matters to me. I am really pleased with it and I would definitely buy this again when I run out.

I’m not sure you can find these ones here in the Philippines but it’s really worth checking out. I have two of this in light/medium and medium/dark.

Bronzer Collection

My small collection of bronzer for my "tanning mood"... ;-) some are from swaps, eBay and pasalubong... My favourite from these collection are NARS Multiple in Palm Beach and Bourjois... I’m having a hard time picking out which one is the best because their both pretty on their own.
