Bourjois Ambre D'or Blush

LOVE IT! This shade looks gorgeous! It gives me a healthy warm glow with golden shimmer. Glistening
peachy bronze color with fine gold shimmers. Its divine! Gives me that super fresh sunkissed glow. Staying power is awesome!

However, the packaging sucks because the brush is really delicate and you literally have to scrape at the blush to get the amount needed. Although for application I'm using my stippling brush, this powder is very pigmented. I apply this with a light hand to give me that perfect glow. I love the compact size which is also comes with a mirror. Its very handy.
This product is really worth checking out...

iWhite Korea Make-up Base

I was looking for cheap facial wash at Watsons and saw this one along with my purchase from iWhite Korea. I tried it for a week now and I'm really loving it. Here is the description of the product...

iWHITE KOREA FACIAL WHITENING CREAM SPF15 with Mulberry and Panax Gensing Root Extracts Plus Titanium Dioxide.
SPF 15, 3 N 1
You can use this in 3 ways :
*Whitening  from mulberry root extract for an even-toned complexion.
*Sunblock dual UV protection from Titanium Dioxide and ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate.
*Make-up Base, for a smooth, silky, matte finish.
Enrichd with vitamins ACE and Panax Ginseng to protect skin from harsh environment and stress that can cause premature aging. iWHITE Skin Whitening Vita Facial Cream-This is the only facial cream that gives you 3 benifits for complete day care essential: 1-3 Months supply.

This sachet is 10ML and cost around P20.00. Its also available in 65ML at around P169.00+ (philippine peso) something. So far no breakout. I love the scent, its non-oily, it has SPF, it acts as makeup base, and its affordable. This product is worth checking out.

Sun-kissed Look with Loreal Hip Bronzing Powder

There something about bronzer that really drives me to collect it. I'm a fair-medium skin tone and getting the right bronzer for my skin is a bit of a challenge. Most of my bronzer serve me differently. Mostly have high reviews. As for this one, I've always been wanting to try NARS Laguna. Read tons of review about it but for the price I'm afraid I can't cave in. That's how I stumble upon this product meet - "Loreal Hip Bronzing Powder in Blessed"
Isn't this lovely? Perfect for sun-kissed look. This really does it all.  It does give a multi-dimensional glow, without looking orange or dirty. It's perfect for the pale girls out there like myself. Shade may look dark in pan but is pretty sheer on, adds a nice sun kissed glow to your face.  I'm not sure if it's really at par with NARS Laguna, but the shade and effect of this bronzer is amazing! The texture is so smooth, it's blendable, and buildable. But make sure to apply with a light hand because this powder is highly pigmented. One of the rules for pigmented product is to always apply thinly then build the color according to you liking.
The packaging is adorable with the mirror and the brush~ The brush might not be great quality but it works wonderfully sculpting my cheeks. It's too bad it's discontinued. If you can get a hand of this baby, try checking it out.

MILANI SUNSET DUOS IN SUNSET BREEZE

I got this from a Swap in Makeupalley. This item was a real surprise. It's still brand new, lucky me! ;-)

It's 75% medium matte bronzer, 25% a fuschia pink blush. Pigmentation is excellent and the powder is fine so you can layer and adjust it's intensity.  The color combo is great, the texture is silky and so little is required.

I think the compact will last a very long time. Lasting power throughout the day is still to be determined, but at a low - cost alternative to dept store bronzers & blushes, plus only having to carry one compact, I think it's a winner. I really, really like this product.

MILANI MOSAIC IN TOUCH OF SUN

One of my favorite swap finds. It's still new and I'm lucky to have this.

I use this bronzer, as a blush, and as eyeshadow. It's very handy for travel. Highly pigmented and it is just beautiful...it is a lovely, warm, deep peachy color and really gives me that "glow". Very smooth application, a little goes a long way. Its buildable and blendable.

This weights 0.41 OZ / 11G, this will last me a lifetime. This product is worth checking out.

THE BODY SHOP LIP BUTTER

The "BEST" Lip Balm Ever!
The smell is amaaazing! (Its the same with alot of the body shop products). No funky taste. And it really does help if my lips get dry. This is a little pricey for a little pot of lip balm, but its so worth it.

Try checking out The Body Shop Stores for Lip Balm Lovers out there.

Oil Control Sheet

I just want to share my cheap finds... This  Finess Oil Control Sheet cost me P31.75 (peso) for 100 sheets at Watsons. They also have scented versions but I'm content with this. I love using this unscented one because its the cheapest ;-). This Sheet really absorbs oil  and its a great alternative for other brands which cost P80.00 (peso) + up. Try checking it out...

Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited RD170 Lipstick Review

RD 170 "My HG Lipstick". This is by far the best lipstick, I have ever had. The formula is to die for. Its so rich, creamy & highly pigmented. It feels so soft and light and feels great on. I love the shade, its bright crimson red with bluish undertones. I always get compliment wearing this.

This retails at $23 USD at Sephora but sells a bit cheaper here in Asia. I got mine in Hongkong, I specifically ask my friend to buy this beauty for me. And I paid around P800+ for this item a bit cheaper than Rustan's which retails this around P1400+ up.

This product is worth checking out...

For cheaper alternatives:

Check out Revlon Lipstick their Renewist or Super Lustrous line. I read somewhere that they are at par with Shu uemura lippies. I haven't tried Revlon yet so I can't attest to this claim.

Shiseido Maquillage Quad Review

I got this as a wedding present from my Hubby's office mate. I love everything about this quad, I simply cannot find anything bad to say about it. This shade is in RD742 or simply the purple quad.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love japanesse makeups . I adore their quality and SHISEIDO is one among the best brand I often read in the reviews. And one of the brands I'm lemming to have.

As for this quad, I really love all the shades. It makes my brown eyes pop and gives me that glam feeling. The quad consist of eyeshadow for lid,mid tone eyeshadow base-contour for the outer-V, highlighter, and eye liner.

In terms of the quality, texture, lasting power, wearability of shades and packaging they are of good quality. However for those ladies who are into smokey eye look ,I guess you'll be dissapointed with quad. Though these are highly pigmented eyeshadow the color selection tends to lean more on the pastel range. And thats pretty much I love about it thats why I'm giving this a two thumps up.

I think the only major drawback for this quad is that its way too expensive. I think this retails around P3k + up in the market. This product is really worth checking out.

Loreal True Match Liquid Foundation Review

My Mother-in-Law got me this one from the US. I've always been wanting to try this one out but didnt get around to. She got me the Sun Beige shade because I want to sport a tan look. I'm not a fan of face tanners so I decided to get 3-4 shades darker than my skin tone.

As for the Pros:
- Formulation is ok, its blendable and buildable
- SPF 17
- It feels light
- Wide range of shades

As for the Cons:
- Not long wearing
- Oil Control is ok, I still need to blot a lot

This product is still worth checking out because it still gave me my most natural tan face look. I think the huge drawback for this is that its way over price here in the Philippines. I think this retails around P1k up + in the market. I don't think I'll shell that kind of money for a drugstore brand. Luckily I got mine for free ;-)

Maybelline Angelfit Liquid Foundation

Another Cheap finds. So far this my second favorite from Maybelline , next to my Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse. I usually wear this on days that I find my face dry.

As for Pros:
- I love the packaging! the bottle comes with a pump.
- Buildable and Blendable
- Offers light to medium coverage
- Dries to a powder finish its not sticky.
- Makes my skin looks flawless.

As for the Cons:
- Oil-control is ok, I still find myself blotting a lot when using this
- Not long wearing, it melts a bit
- Limited shades available.
- Has a cosmetic scent but not over powering. The scent doesn't bother me at all.

Despite the cons, I still find this product worth checking out. If your skin is more on the normal-dry side the formulation will be beneficial to you. Even though it doesn't have the heavy concealing property, you can always use concealer for minor or major flaws right? ;-). And this retails around P450-600.00 in the market which is an added charm to this bottle.

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation Review

This liquid foundation is amazing! After watching You Tube videos and reading reviews about this I finally got mine in Sand Beige Shade for Combination/Oily Skin. This is by far the best foundations I've ever tried. This is truly long-wearing, doesn't melt, doesn't cake, doesn't wear off. It offers great coverage, the formulation is blendable and buildable and offers flawless finish. The oil control is good, and contains SPF. No break out so far. The best part about this is that its comparable to high end brands minus the price. What more can a girl ask for?

As for the cons, the packaging would have been better if they built it up with a pump. Another thing about this foundation is that the liquid dries fast so you have to work fast. The trick, however is to apply it sparingly, use a brush, sponge, or whatever your comfortable with and work fast. Do it by parts, like half of your face first then proceed with the other half. Its always better to work thinly and build it up. Remember to moisturize first before putting this on so you'll get smoother application.

Overall, I highly recommend this foundation. This retails around $12-14 USD. It's available in two formulation; one for normal/dry skin and the other is for combination/oily skin. Available in wide variety of shades. Its best to to test it out in the counters to get the exact shade you want.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Review

Advantages:

-Affordable
-Light to medium coverage
-Suitable to combination or oily skin
-Blendable and Buildable

Disadvantages:

-Don't deliver the same result if you have dry skin
-Heavy glass pot container not convenient to carry around

I've been using this for quiet some time now. I'm bought the true beige shade. I'm loving this so far because it’s affordable and serves me well. It's buildable, blendable, and the best part of this item is the flawless matte effect. I usually use this during hot, humid days. I'm using a wedge sponge for application or sometimes my fingers when I'm feeling lazy :-). Then I finish this off by dusting my T-zone area only. It retails around P400+ up (something) at leading department stores. This product is worth checking out.

Skin Food Aloe Sun BB Cream SPF 20 PA+ Review

After reading tons of reviews of BB creams I finally indulge myself in getting one. I got mine in Shade No. 1 a yellow-ish base.

First of all I really adore this product. One of my HG. Now let me start with the Pros :

- I Love the glowy-dewy finish
- It has SPF so I can skip my SPF routine, "time saver"
- I can skip my concealer because it offers a bit concealing (since I got minor cover ups)
- It's light coverage but it's buildable
- Love the Aloe scent
- Oil control is pretty decent
- No pale white cast

as for the Cons:

- The consistency is a bit thick but its blendable; nothing major ops
- Limited shade range ; 2 shades only
- Retail Price in Skin Food store is Major Downside; retails around P1300+ peso something
(but try checking out on eBay or private seller on multiply)

As for repurchasing, definitely yes...

Cover Girl Trio in Shimmering Sands Review

This trio is perfect palette for a basic, neutral eye look. The colors are smooth, easy to blend, have a decent pigmentation. This kit is a bit shimmery but not over-the-top. The best part of all it's DIRT cheap - it retails at $4USD. You can check this out on eBay Ph since it cost twice in the leading department store.

As for repurchasing, I don't think I will, I'm a sucker for matte when it comes to neutral-brown shades. For those who love shimmery eyeshadow this might be worth checking out.

Cover Girl Eyeshadow Quad Review

I totally forgot the shade of this quad but its leaning towards purple. The color is gorgeous in the package, however, it does NOT carry over to your eyelids.I don't really like this quad for a lot of reasons. First, you need to do a lot of packing of this eyeshadow to your lid for the color to show up. Second, you need a very good eye primer for this to make the color look alive. Lastly, its not long wearing. The color fades through out the day and will leave you with shimmery hint of purple.

I was disappointed with this quad because their not the same quality with the trio that I got - the shimmering sands. I would not recommend this to anyone who's on the look out for a decent wallet friendly makeup.

Fanny Serrano Gel Eyeliner Review

I was totally high when I saw this product. I've been looking for gel eyeliners in the market and this is the second one I came across with. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to test this one out before buying simply because there's no tester available in Mall that I bought it.

I'm so disappointed with this product because the consistency is very hard, I cannot draw a line without pulling my eyelids, and the end result does not look so flattering. It claims to be long wearing but in the middle of the day, this gel eyeliner flakes. This retails around P280.00+ (peso). Thank God its not that expensive because this item sucks.

Revlon "Just Bitten" Review

I love lip stains and this is a good one. Too bad they are discontinued but I'm glad I was able to buy some back up. ;-) The product is excellent, very wearable. It is a bit tricky to apply if you aren't familiar with lip stains, as you need to exfoliate your lips , before using this item. Then apply and let it dry. I don't find this item long wearing because it fades off after 4 hours. It has a fruity taste but does not bother me at all.

The packaging sucks! The roller ball is really annoying it gives you an uneven stain but-you can fix this by using your finger or a q-tip. I have this in Cherry Tart and Berry Juicy, it literally gives you that just bitten look. As for recommendation, If you can find one it's worth checking out.

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel Review

After watching so many glowing reviews on this on You Tube, I decided to try this product for my sensitive combination skin. I used it primarily under my liquid foundation. It made my skin smooth, cling to my foundation, made my foundation last longer and did not break me out. Overall, I'm loving this. This is my HG for face primer.

I definitely recommend this, it's worth checking out. This is a great option for someone who doesn't want to buy a higher end primer. It works just as well as the expensive brands if I compared it to Laura Mercier Foundation Primer. The tube is very convenient and easy to apply. A little goes a LONG way. And this retails around P500+ up (peso).

Face Illuminators Review

Seriously, what's not to love about these items? Illuminators definitely make your skin look fab, awake, and radiant... Its a very versatile product.

-You can mix this with your liquid foundation during the application and instantly it gives you that certain glow. Just a pea size or you might look like a disco ball.
- You can also use this as highlighters under the brow, cheekbones, decolletage, or where ever that needs highlighting.
- You can also mix this with your lotion for that added glow to your arms and legs

Two products that I have are :
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in Pink Light Shade
The BodyShop in TGL01 (old packaging)

Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator

Pros:
-Love the shade
-SPF 15
-It comes with a pump
-40 ML
-Affordable retails at $14

Cons:

I really do like this product and recommend to pick some up if you find it on sale before it's gone for good.

The BodyShop Glow Enhancer in TGL01

Pros:
-Love the shade
-Long lasting won't wear off
-Light-diffusing particles provides radiance
