Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation Review

This liquid foundation is amazing! After watching You Tube videos and reading reviews about this I finally got mine in Sand Beige Shade for Combination/Oily Skin. This is by far the best foundations I've ever tried. This is truly long-wearing, doesn't melt, doesn't cake, doesn't wear off. It offers great coverage, the formulation is blendable and buildable and offers flawless finish. The oil control is good, and contains SPF. No break out so far. The best part about this is that its comparable to high end brands minus the price. What more can a girl ask for?

As for the cons, the packaging would have been better if they built it up with a pump. Another thing about this foundation is that the liquid dries fast so you have to work fast. The trick, however is to apply it sparingly, use a brush, sponge, or whatever your comfortable with and work fast. Do it by parts, like half of your face first then proceed with the other half. Its always better to work thinly and build it up. Remember to moisturize first before putting this on so you'll get smoother application.

Overall, I highly recommend this foundation. This retails around $12-14 USD. It's available in two formulation; one for normal/dry skin and the other is for combination/oily skin. Available in wide variety of shades. Its best to to test it out in the counters to get the exact shade you want.

Revlon "Just Bitten" Review

I love lip stains and this is a good one. Too bad they are discontinued but I'm glad I was able to buy some back up. ;-) The product is excellent, very wearable. It is a bit tricky to apply if you aren't familiar with lip stains, as you need to exfoliate your lips , before using this item. Then apply and let it dry. I don't find this item long wearing because it fades off after 4 hours. It has a fruity taste but does not bother me at all.

The packaging sucks! The roller ball is really annoying it gives you an uneven stain but-you can fix this by using your finger or a q-tip. I have this in Cherry Tart and Berry Juicy, it literally gives you that just bitten look. As for recommendation, If you can find one it's worth checking out.

Face Illuminators Review

Seriously, what's not to love about these items? Illuminators definitely make your skin look fab, awake, and radiant... Its a very versatile product.

-You can mix this with your liquid foundation during the application and instantly it gives you that certain glow. Just a pea size or you might look like a disco ball.
- You can also use this as highlighters under the brow, cheekbones, decolletage, or where ever that needs highlighting.
- You can also mix this with your lotion for that added glow to your arms and legs

Two products that I have are :
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in Pink Light Shade
The BodyShop in TGL01 (old packaging)

Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator

Pros:
-Love the shade
-SPF 15
-It comes with a pump
-40 ML
-Affordable retails at $14

Cons:
-Not Long wearing
-Have a cosmetic scent but not overpowering
- Its discontinued

I really do like this product and recommend to pick some up if you find it on sale before it's gone for good.

The BodyShop Glow Enhancer in TGL01

Pros:
-Love the shade
-Long lasting won't wear off
-Light-diffusing particles provides radiance
- 30ML

Cons:
- Can't think of anything ;-)

Thumbs up for The BodyShop! worth checking out...

My Collection "Liquid Foundation"

Just sharing with you guys… My small collection of liquid foundation…I love liquid foundation because I can play with it. It’s very flexible. I can mix my illuminators or pigments for that added glow. Even though it’s very humid in our country I can still make my foundation work for me.

Revlon ColorStay SPF 6 in Sand Beige – heavy coverage
Maybelline Angelfit in Buff – medium coverage
Loreal True Match in Sunny Beige – natural tan coverage
SkinFood BB Cream in shade No. 1 – light and dewy coverage

I can’t think of one particular brand that I’m very fond of, all of my liquid foundation serve me differently. Most of my collections are my favourites ;-).
